Legislative Day 2021

The Future of The Pest Management Industry is on Congress’ Agenda

We Need You! Join NPMA in Washington, DC, March 12-14 for Legislative Day! This annual event is your opportunity to meet with legislators and Hill staff to share the vital role pest management plays in protecting public health, food, and property. Present a united front with your peers from across the country to ensure that pesticide preemption is passed at a federal level so only state-wide agencies, and not localities can regulate the sale and use of pesticides. Your efforts will bring forth the change needed to effectively serve your local customers and communities through the safest and most consistent approach to pest management.

Program highlights:

  • Keynotes, panel presentations, and sessions covering the latest policy issues, industry data, and challenges facing the pest management industry, including workforce development
  • In-person Capitol Hill Visits Tuesday, March 14. Capitol Hill is open, and for the first time since 2020, attendees will have the opportunity to meet in person congressional leaders and key staff.
  • And make sure to join NPMA volunteer leaders, staff, and members at NPMA Headquarters on Saturday, March 11, for a special Open House to celebrate NPMA’s 90th Anniversary!
